Marketing Communications Manager

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Meguiar's is currently searching for a Marketing Communications Manager to join and strengthen the Marketing team. The Marketing Communications Manager delivers key portfolio team objectives through essential advertising, promotion and collateral development functions, as well as, manages the work flow and project completion/delivery of the internal graphics team.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to… 1. Generates and develops an annual communication plan along with status reports to keep all interested parties informed of changes and progress 2. Inspires creativity, innovative thinking, and positive problem solving abilities while managing the internal graphics team 3. Works with internal and external resources and agencies to develop printed materials, marketing and sales collateral, point of sale materials, and online interactive marketing elements 4. Works with advertising agency to develop highest quality, innovative, high impact television, print and radio advertising. 5. Works with agencies along with internal team members to ensure the successful initiation, management and execution of consumer promotions, collateral and advertising. 6. Leads the development of Consumer Promotion and advertising portions of brand plans and recommends related plan objectives, strategies, and tactics including spending levels, vehicles and timing 7. Manages the annual evaluation of the effectiveness of each Brand’s/events’ prior year advertising and promotional efforts while providing key learnings and implications for achieving current year business/marketing objectives. 8. Ensures timely, accurate, and complete communication of programs to sales personnel. 9. Ensures that all marketing materials and ad creative are in compliance with legal, licensing, and regulatory groups. Maintains brand identity and obtains necessary signatures/approvals/clearances.

Skills & Capabilities Requirements: 

4 year college degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 3-4 years of advertising or marketing experience as part of a team. Demonstrated success in developing promotions/advertising programs which may include leveraging across all marketing channels as well as ability to manage and evaluate suppliers. Demonstrated success in developing and executing sustaining consumer promotions and advertising strategies resulting in clear impact while developing an understanding of consumer/customer insight development and how consumer promotions and advertising affect overall business (ROI) Must be an excellent communicator, have a strong attention to detail and be able to work well with cross-functional teams. Must be highly organized and able to build and tightly manage a project timeline. Must have familiarity with media buying (Print, TV, Radio), creative development/graphic design, sales collateral, consumer promotions.
