Customer Raves for Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Cleaner |
"Eight months ago, I was involved in a bad car accident where I was the innocent party. Some young girl was going after her cell phone on a freeway in the San Diego area. The freeway was bumper to bumper and the average speed was 30 to 35 miles per hour. According to the report, she was traveling 50 to 55 miles an hour when she hit the left rear side of my truck causing me to spin. The paramedics and CHP (who were my witness’) said I should have been hurt worse than I was. At the time of the accident, a Native American CD was playing. The CD mixes sounds of nature with music; I love it to relax by. Why I had it playing I do not know, but I did. The cd was also damaged in the accident; it had a scratch from one side to the other. I tried almost everything to fix it including Meguiar’s Clear Plastic Detailer which I use to clean all of my electronics. It helped but didn't completely fix the CD. I bought several machines to fix it but nothing worked so I gave up. The worst part was that the CD was out of print. Recently, I learned I needed to have another operation to fix my left shoulder and I wanted my cd for the ride home after surgery. So I tried to fix my cd again. I remembered an independent record store in the San Diego area that I purchased all of my CDs from. He sold Meguiar's Clear Plastic Cleaner and Meguiar’s Clear Plastic Polish for repair and cleaning CDs and DVDs. So I went crazy and hit a good portion of the auto repair stores in the Costa Mesa and Santa Ana Area. I finally found both products at Hub Auto Supply. I cleaned the CD with the Clear Plastic Cleaner first followed by the Clear Plastic Polish and finally I removed any left over traces of the products with the Clear Plastic Detailer. The products worked. The only thing that remained damaged was 2 seconds and that was at the end of one song so all I had to do was edit it and re-burn the cd. Thanks for making some wonderful products." |

"Instead of the expense of replacing a new plastic light bar for one of our fire trucks, we decided to try your Mirror Glaze plastic product. The results were quite impressive and the visibility of the light bar has improved dramatically. We have a couple of good pictures of the before and after if you are interested." |

"I don't usually write to companies, in fact this is the first time. I had a really tough film of somekind on the headlights on my '96 Eclipse. I tried all kinds of cleaners, even some strong bathroom cleaners with no success. Your plastic cleaner, which was recomended by a NAPA store clerk, worked better and so much easier than I expected and saved me from having to buy new headlights. Thank You For A Great Product." |

"I am writing to congratulate you on an excellent product. Some weeks ago I stained the clear plastic display on my dashboard with another cleaning product and I thought those burn marks/stains would never come out. I tried everything but nothing worked until I tried your product. I followed the instructions and all the stains were removed. Had I replaced the clear plastic it would have cost me approx. $500, but with a small amount of your product I have a perfectly clear plastic again. Thank you." |

"I just need to tell you this.I have a boat that the previous owner would put the bimini top down against the plastic windshield, needless to say I thought I needed new windshilds. They were discolored, rub scratches in big clumps, and decent size scratches. My freind gave me some #10 cleaner and polish and said it might get the scratches out.I said ya right George how are you going to make scratches dissaper. He said try it you got nothing to loose. I tryed it and much to my amazement the windshield was unstained and clear but the scratches were still there. I read the lable and it said for scratches use # 17 and finish with # 10. Right away I got on the internet and found # 17 at one of your dealers. It cost me about $18.00 with the shipping(real cheep if the stuff works like the #10).I ran down to the boat and after a lot of elbow grease the windshields look like brand new. I said to myself I must be seeing things so I used the # 10 on my eye glasses and I thought the lenses fell out, they were so clear I coulden't beleive it. If I did not try your product first I figure I would have spent about 1,000- 2,000 bucks on new windshields. This is the first time I ever got a fix in a plastic bottle that actually worked.I don't know what else to say other than I am one happy camper and thank you so much and I am so happy that I listened to George. I hope he forgets about the #10 because I really don't want to give it back." |

"I wanted to let you know that the plastic windows on my canvas(boat)were somehow damaged and nothing I used would clean them up. Since these were new windows along with the canvas, I was quite sick thinking that I would need to purchase another set. I use your products on my boat and forgot I had this cleaner in my dock box. Not only did your cleaner clean the windows to look like new, it made me VERY happy. Thank you for such a good product." |

"The headlights on my vehicle were all gazed over, it was a white film that made it hard to see at night. I searched on the web and found your product, went to an automotive store and bought it. I am very impressed. It took two applications and my lenses are clear. They look almost brand new. Thanks for your product. I'll recommend it to anyone. I didn't even need to purchase your detailer." |

"My wife's 1992 Mazda MX-3 has spent much of its life in the sun, & the last five years in Florida, so the headlights were badly oxidized, yellowing & opaque. The Clear Plastic Cleaner & the Clear Plastic Polish did a beautiful job on our 10-year-old Mazda. I checked into replacement lenses recently, but at $400/pair, the Meguiar's solution was much less expensive and the headlights are almost as good as new. Thanks, & please extend my compliments to your chemists!" |
