"I had my 1968 Corvette repainted several months ago by a company that does show cars. They put a beautiful clear coat as the last step that looks great. I recently attended the Sacramento Autorama and stopped by the Meguiar's booth. The rep recommended NXT Tech Wax 2.0 as the correct product for my car, and after using it, I agree. My question is when does the hard part start? I have used other liquid waxes in the past, and the buffing process is always a pain. I kept waiting for that pain to start, but it never did. The product comes off easier than it goes on. The only problem that I had is that I probably used too much, but it all wiped off. The directions for use clearly say to use a small amount on the applicator pad. Next time, I will. Thanks for making this product available."

"My wife stopped by your truck at Amelia Island Concours this spring and informed the gentleman there that we were moving back to the California desert and need a protective wax. At his recommendation, she bought a bottle of NXT Tech Wax. Well, in June, about a week before I was to drive from Atlanta to Palm Springs in our '04 Acura TL, I set to it. This is amazing stuff! It applies and removes easily, and the depth of the shine was remarkable (like you said on the box). But the true test was on the drive out. The car looked great sitting in front of the Barber museum in Birmingham, and equally good in Midland, Texas, as I drooled over Jim Hall's beauties. But most importantly, when it rolled out of the car wash in Palm Springs, after 2200 miles of bugs, rain, and sand, it still looked as good (and felt as good) as when I waxed it. After I returned by air to Atlanta, my first project was my wife's PT Cruiser, which will be making the same trip in a few weeks. It already looks as good as it did five years ago, and I know it will in another 2200 miles. The '73 911 will get its coat after it rolls off the trailer."

"This Sunday began as a warm sunny July morning, a treasured thing here in Western New York. My light pewter metallic 2000 Chevy S10 pickup may look like new to most people (19,000 miles, no winters), but I knew it was time to renew the wax job. Unfortunately my ambition level was not up to the task. I had purchased Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax, along with NXT Generation Speed Detailer and NXT Generation Insane Shine, (I'll have to keep looking for the new glass cleaner, tire cleaner and interior detailer) at a local Wal-Mart a few weeks ago. I worked up enough ambition to wash the truck and said to myself, well, just try a little wax on the hood. It was so easy to apply that I did the whole truck including the clear coated aluminum factory wheels. What I could not believe was the level of shine produced, especially on this color. It was as if the whole truck was clear plastic coated. This stuff is positively amazing and everything you advertise about it, including ease of use, is almost an understatement. I remember using Meguiar's products on my '69 SS 396 Chevelle when it was new as did my friend with his then new '69 Camaro SS. We never said we waxed our cars, we "Meguiared" them. "Dear Meguiar's, I actually stopped what I was doing this afternoon to send you a quick e-mail. I have never used your products before, however I recently completed your RX PLUS program and, based on your recommendations, I purchased both the Quik Clay Detailing System as well as the NXT Generation Tech Wax. Following the instructions for both, I first cleaned 1/2 of my hood with the Quik Clay Detailing System then followed up with the Tech Wax. By doing only 1/2 of the hood, I could compare results. I truly was "blown away" at the results. I have a 2005 deep blue Chrysler Town and Country Van. Not only was the finish smooth as glass, but the deep, dark rich shine obtained from the waxing was far above my expectations. Even though this is a new vehicle, your products made a VERY NOTICEABLE difference in its appearance. I am not easily impressed; some say I am rather hard to please. I saw a shine that I new was in there, so I began to wax, and wax, and wax, etc. I have used many name brand wax's but was not satisfied. I knew it could shine better. In a high performance store, they had three kinds of wax. I read the label on your NXT Generation Tech Wax and was very skeptical because they all say the same thing, that theirs is best. We live in a Coal Mining area in the Hunter Valley NSW, Australia, so it goes without saying that there is a fair bit of contamination in the air. Now once every 2 weeks I put on 3 coats, it takes me about 3 hours in total to do the whole car (spoilers, inside doors, skirts, etc...) You know what? no more coal dust sticking to it....Nothing, Nada, Ziltch. It just slides right off. "As a long time Meguiar's customer, I wanted to let you know about my experience with NXT Generation Tech Wax. I purchased this product in June of 2004 at the Carlisle, PA Mopar Show. I was anxious to use this new product on my 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport XLS. Before I had an opportunity to wax the vehicle I was diagnosed with a herniated disc in my back which prevented me from doing anything physical. Not to be discouraged, I asked my next door neighbor's son if he would wash and wax my truck. He agreed and applied the first coat of NXT Generation Tech Wax. "I own a BMW 330ci which I have customized to produce a flawless, balanced driving machine. It has Titanium silver paint which is nice but is not noted for dazzling shine! I have used Zymol, Turtle Wax Platinum, and other premium carnuba waxes and glazes. They all worked fairly well with a modest amount of labor involved. The paint on my car is in good condition but does have many swirl marks that lowers the refelective nature of the paint. The silver does hide these. I tried your new NXT Generation Tech Wax, and was suprized as to the ease of application and removal of this product. But, it was the results that blew me away!! I never knew that silver could shine so beautifully. Not as much as black of course, but better than I have ever seen a Light color paint shine. In fact many people stop and ask if I had a special clear coat or multiple coats applied! The NXT Generation Spray Wax booster works well to build on the first, and really enhances the shine. This product was the first used on my BMW to blow me away at how easy it is to use and the awsome results you can get in about 45 minutes. There is no way I can ask for my money back as I was amazed. "Thank you for the NXT GENERATION TECH WAX. This product is amazing. I went to the local auto parts store, read on your bottle about the wax challenge to see which wax had a better shine than the NXT. So I purchased a bottle just to see how good of a product you guys have made now. I use Meguiar's waxes so I know you guys have your work cut out to be stating this challange. So I put it to the test. I have a 1995 Chevrolet Impala SS (Black Cherry-Maroon) which is in alright condition. After using the NXT Generation it is in great to excellent condition. Not only did it remove some of the swrill marks and some of the minor scracthes but it made the paint's color come back to showroom condition. Not to mention the Protectant. My car got egged by some punks looking for some excitiment at someone else's expense. Luckly for me I used the NXT two days before the egging occured. When I woke up to go to work I noticed the egg shells on the ground and saw the egg splattered on my car. So I hosed off the mess and went to work (it was too early and dark at 3:45am the morning to see if any damage was done to the paint). So when I got out of work I checked out my car and didn't noticed any egg on it. So thanks again for the NXT. I just feel sorry for the other eleven cars that those punks might of thrown eggs at and didn't use the NXT. "I recently bought a new Acura RSX Type S. It is my passion. One of the things that is very important to me with this new car is that the body look like a million bucks. So obviously an incredible wax job is essential. I've tried everything to get this to look flawless. I tried a spray on wax. Yuck! Then, on recommendation of my uncle I tried Meguiar's out. I heard about this new NXT Tech Wax. Supposedly it was very easy to put on and take off and it was a very deep color wax. I tried it last night. I applied it and took it off in the dark with no extra lighting. This was not intended: The sun went down before I could finish up drying my car so it was a by-product of my inattention to the time. However, I just checked it this morning and save a few small spots where I just totally forgot to wipe, everything looked really nice. It was literally a mirror finish. "Rumors of the superior performance of Meguiar's new NXT Tech Wax have been so strong that extreme car enthusiasts have offered sums up to $200 for a small sample. On a recent eBay auction, the winning bid for a small bottle of NXT Tech Wax, autographed by Barry Meguair, was $395. So, I guess I should count myself lucky that I walked away with a 4 oz. sample. Officially I received "lab sample 19-75E", mixed 9/23/03. The official release of NXT Tech Wax is scheduled for early February, 2004. Based on my initial use, I will get two full applications on my test vehicle, a titanium metallic 2004 Porsche Cayenne S. The final product will be served in a hip 18 oz. purple bottle with a bright green flip cap at $14.95 (list), making it the first modern enthusiast polymer wax to be priced under a dollar an ounce, or a keen $1.66 per application. The first thing I noticed about NXT Tech Wax is that it has a very smooth texture and a light, cheerful key lime fragrance with just a hint of Jujubees. I allowed the product to sit for four days undisturbed to see if it would separate. It doesn’t. The texture remains smooth. The Meguiar’s lab coat technicians and staff are tight- lipped about the chemistry behind their new creation, saying only that they went back to formula. New chemicals, new mixing techniques and new thinking went in to the next generation line, which includes NXT Tech Wax, NXT Spray Wax, NXT All Metal Polysh, NXT Car Wash and NXT Tech Protectant (for vinyl, rubber and plastic). Like most synthetic waxes, NXT Tech Wax likes to be applied to a clean surface that has been prepped with a pre-wax cleaner. However, I did a side-by-side on an un-prepared panel to test slickness and ease of application in less than ideal conditions. Having been driven more than 1,200 miles in the past month and not waxed since before the San Diego fires started, the Cayenne’s paint was in need of some TLC. I used a microfiber applicator to apply NXT Tech Wax on the unprepared paint in order to get a bit of cleaning action. On the prepared paint I used a fine foam applicator. I applied the product in two thin coats, rubbing it in well, but not buffing off between coats. I allowed the product to sit for a minute or so and buffed it off with one of my Concours Buffing Towels. Buffing out NXT Tech Wax was very easy. There was a little residue, but no streaking. I mean none! Some of the high-tech products I’ve tested recently can’t make this claim. So, let me put it to you simply this way: NXT Tech Wax may be setting a new standard for ease of application. Easy on, easy off. No fuss! Now I’ll bet you want to know how it looks, right? Well, it looks great! It has nice clarity and the high gloss finish of the best polymer sealants I’ve used (and I have them all, mind you). Unlike any other polymer sealant I’ve ever used, instead of leaving a silvery shimmer, it made the paintwork look darker and richer. Now, the metallic in the platinum paint stands out. It does not have the wet-look of the best carnauba waxes, but it added nice depth. My paint is in good surface condition, so I did not have much of an opportunity to test NTX Tech Wax’s ability to hide surface imperfections. However, under strong florescent light (I have 16 4’ bulbs over my detailing bay), I was not able to detect any spider webbing in the clear coat. None! How about slickness? I can safely say that both the prepared and unprepared panels are very slick. My Concours Buffing Towel goes whizzing across the hood with very little effort. In fact, fold the towel and put it in the middle of the hood and it won’t stay put. Gloss and finish are “OUTSTANDING”. It’s the first polymer that does what I want; it makes the finish darker so you can see the depth of the shine. I can’t wait to test it on red."
