"Gentlemen, I had to write and tell you that I am completely satisfied with your Scratch X 2.0 product. I own a 1979 Plymouth Fire Arrow and a 1980 Dodge Challenger. The Challenger, purchased in 2006, has always had acid rain stains on it's roof and trunk lid. I have tried everything short of repainting to eliminate these unsightly blemishes in the paint. This morning, on a whim, (and after using your excellent product on my 2005 Scion xB - which I inadvertently scratched with a tree branch and completely repaired), I used Scratch X 2.0 by hand, on the areas of the Challenger that I previously described. The acid rain stains are now mere shadows of what they were. They are, in fact, nearly invisible to the naked eye. I am now tempted to re- apply the compound and use a Dual Action buffer, as directed on the packaging. I have always used your products to clean and detail my cars, but I cannot thank you enough for this very excellent product. It exceeded my expectations and has done what no other product could do. "Let me first start by saying that I have never written a product testimonial in my life... for anything. I own a 2008 Dark Blue Metallic Audi A4. This car is my baby. I wash it by hand every weekend, and spend several hours washing and waxing it every couple of months. Several months ago the trunk of my car was viciously attacked by the mother of all bird droppings. By the time I had discovered the aerial assault, it had been baking in the hot Florida sun for hours. Wiping away the mess revealed a plop shaped etching in my paint that made me wince. I immediately purchased one of your competitors rubbing compounds. After applying it per their directions, all I had managed to do was scratch the clear coat so bad that my wince was now more of a convulsion. I then attempted to repair the damage by buffing and waxing the offending spot (yes, using another competitor’s product) until my hands and arms ached. No luck, the convulsion inducing splatter was still visible in the harsh Florida sun. I searched the Internet for solutions until I came across this site and began to read other customer testimonials on how great your products are. I was quite skeptical, but decided to give ScratchX 2.0 a try. After about 3 or 4 applications the months old, etched in, convulsion inducing bird dropping and accompanying scratches are GONE! "After about 12 hours of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and just about any other natural thing that falls out of the sky, my vehicle was coated in winter wonderland. Scraping all this off the next morning was no small chore. My grandson helped with the windshield, then started in on the hood. Much to my chagrin, I noticed a variety of scratch marks left by the grandson's earnestness. While perusing the auto supply shelves today, I saw your ScratchX among others. Let me tell you, you've got some great stuff here! I was able to eliminate the grandson induced scratch marks, a few others I spotted, and a few others were at least reduced in severity. Some of the others will need some touch up paint. I had tried another product to try and touch up a scar down the side of my vehicle this past summer with ZERO results. "Yesterday the gas cap on my brand new Harley came out of my hand at the gas station and the result was a long scratch in the clear coat of my black paint. It was about 8" long and really noticeable. I thought I would never get it out and I would have to live with the scratch in my bike. "Please allow me to take this opportunity to say "Thank You" for inventing Scratch X. This morning I woke up and decided to drive my Lapis Blue 2001 Porsche 996 Twin Turbo (yes, a garage queen, never been in the rain....not even sure the windshield wipers work) since there were no clouds within about 1000 miles (yes, I do love this car). Unfortunately, when I pulled into the driveway after work, the neighbor's dog decided to jump up on the driver's door to say "Hello" (yes, the dog is fine, if that's what you were thinking next). I have no memory of the next 30 minutes, after my wife saw what happened, called 911, and I was resuscitated. The scratches looked just like they sounded, like when the paws were going down the door....about 4-6 inches long. After a wash, much wax and some prayers, the scratch was still there (the paramedics were probably waiting at the end of the street, just in case). I went downstairs and got the ScratchX, hoping against all hope the scratches in the clear coat could be made "bearable", before I was measured for a straight jacket. I read the instructions, twice, and to my total amazement, the scratches were nearly 100% removed after 2 applications, thus proving the existence of a supreme being somewhere in the universe (probably works at Meguiar’s). "I just got finished waxing my Magna Red Mercedes Benz with NXT Generation Tech Wax Paste. I couldn't believe how easy and smooth it was to apply. It was also very easy to wipe off. "I am a long time user of your products, and I love the appearance my car has when I'm done. I just tried out your SCRATCH X and could not believe just how well it works. I own a a '93 Ford Probe GT red, and the roof and rear hatch along with the spoiler always fade to a pinkish kind of color. I was applying SCRATCH X late one night at work and our paint tech was working with me, He took a 2 minute walk to get a coffee and when he returned I was wiping off one side of the roof. He was shocked by the difference it made. All the faded color was gone leaving only the bright red that should be there all the time. "I am a member of the Tidewater Mopar Club here in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. I have a restored 1968 Dodge Charger that is pretty much stock. Last year it won the Stock competition and is the 2005 Stock Class Champion for the club. My wife and I are extremely proud of the car and enjoy driving it on club events or just to go out and cruise. I am now a committed Meguiars customer and the other car cleaner products I have will be summarily removed from my detail kit and completely replaced with your products."
